Dental cavities

A dental caries (cavity) is an infectious, chronic and multifactorial process; the treatment of cavities will depend on the extent of the lesion and affected dentition (temporary or permanent), ranging from a simple dental filling to a pulpotomy or, in some cases, the extraction of the affected tooth.
